"Go, Laura! Go Engineers in Action! "
"Go Brandon Go! Good luck with the campaign!"
Today, 2.2 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water services, 4.2 billion people do not have safely managed sanitation services, and 3 billion people lack basic hand washing facilities. One billion people in low-income countries lack access to a road that is passable year-round, limiting their access to health care, education and agricultural markets - contributing significantly to high rates of poverty.
Engineers in Action is working to change that. We are responding to these challenges by implementing community-based water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects and building pedestrian bridges that enable safe passage across rivers to ensure essential services are safely accessible by all. You can become part of the change by supporting the Engineers in Action team members who are fasting for 36 hours to raise money to allow EIA to build more of these powerful engines of change.
P.S. There's no better time to get involved and double your impact. With a challenge gift offered by an enthusiastic supporter, FAST Donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $20,000.
